Fate of the USS Fleming

While on patrol near the Romulan boarder the USS Oak Island responds to a distress signal of a nearby planet. A series of asteroids have entered their system and taken orbit around their planet. Not able to determine the source of the asteroids they called for help.

After extensive probing of all five asteroids it was deduced that they were likely fragments of Romulus as they were embedded with wreckage of the USS Fleming, a federation rescue ship that was sent to assist the Romulus only to be destroyed by Nero and his Narada. After stabilizing the orbits of the asteroids the Oak Island and her crew contacted Starfleet and alerted them of the fallen vessel and her crew's final resting place.
